The Dallas GOP organization also urged the Legislature to eliminate Texans' ability to vote straight-party tickets. A resolution passed by the group said the practice "has led to the election of unqualified candidates in down-ballot races solely because of their party affiliation."We must keep the pressure on our State Representatives and State Senators to support free and fair elections by supporting Voter ID and prohibiting the straight-party voting option.
For our State Senators ask them to co-sponsor Jeff Wentworth's bill SB139.
