Tea Party Texans Rally in Austin to Oust Straus!
Join us in Austin on Jan, 10-11.
Tea Parties all over Texas will be converging on the State Capitol on
January 11, 2011, in opposition to the reelection of Joe Straus as Speaker
of the House. A massive turnout will send our Reps the unmistakable message
that if they go with Straus, their political careers as Republicans are
over.
We have been advised that spending the 10th at the Capitol, locating and
speaking directly with the various representatives to lobby against Straus,
will send a strong message and have a huge impact on the vote. The dates we
are looking at are the 9th through the 12th, but you are free to pick and
choose when you want to go, when you want to leave, and what you want to do.There will be a rally at the Capitol steps on the 11th. Bring your signs!
